About Gymnastics

Why Gymnastics?
Gymnastics is often seen as the basis for all forms of physical activity. It is part of our daily routine, designed to help us stay fit, and is as relevant for ordinary people as it is for elite athletes across all sporting disciplines. Gymnastic exercises are adapted and tailored to suit the requirements of every sport as a means of strengthening and honing the basic tool of its practitioners, namely, the human body.

Gymnastics is for everyone, within the international gymnastics federation (FIG) there are seven internationally recognized gymnastics disciplines.  The level 1 courses at the forge will provide participants with a gymnastics base which can be applied in all disciplines.
